Classic.
We also installed a new heating and AC
system in this 1920's home in the Fairmount
section of the city.
Cornices
Many older Philadelphia homes have beautiful, ornate cornices hidden under
aluminum or vinyl siding. Oftentimes, the covering provided protection
against the elements and the cornice is in fair condition. Removal of the
covering, repair of the wood, and painting the cornice to your specifications
will restore the original architecture of your home and greatly enhances its
beauty and value.
More cornices at the bottom- look for a dedicated cornice page
coming soon.
Beautiful and classic.
Covered in vinyl by some knuckled head, this cornice was in great shape. The client when with a black and white
theme. We also installed the planter boxes.
Later the owner called to have us remove the Home Despot front door and install a solid wood front door,
stained black with a transom window above it. Note the aluminum siding above the original white door. That was
removed and framed out to accept a beautiful, large glass transom.
